Hi, chuchu!
Agora que você já está craque no SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE do VERB TO BE, é hora de falar sobre o PRESENT CONTINUOUS.
A gente usa o PRESENT CONTINUOUS para falar de ações que estão acontecendo no momento da fala. Eu estou falando. Nós estamos indo. Ele está comendo.
A estrutura é a mesma do português, repara só:
falar - estar falaNDO
comer - estar comeNDO
ir - estar iNDO
to speak - to be speakING
to eat - to be eatING
to go - to be goING
É isso mesmo. É só colocar ING no final do verbo. Easy peasy (mamão com açúcar).
Ficamos assim:
AFFIRMATIVE
I'm speaking
You're speaking
He's speaking
She's speaking
It's speaking
We're speaking
You're speaking
They're speaking
NEGATIVE
I'm not speaking
You're not speaking
He isn't speaking
She isn't speaking
It isn't speaking
We aren't speaking
You aren't speaking
They aren't speaking
INTERROGATIVE
Am I speaking?
Are you speaking?
Is he speaking?
Is she speaking?
Is it speaking?
Are we speaking?
Are you speaking?
Are they speaking?
